Cedar-clad garden room with hardwood decking
Properly Built, Start To Finish

A structure that earns its place in the garden.

A garden room earns its keep through daily use, so that's what we build for from the start — a foundation suited to your ground, a solid timber frame, and cedar or treated timber cladding that handles a Kent winter as well as it handles a summer barbecue.

Whether it's a home office you'll be in every weekday, a gym, a studio, or simply somewhere to keep the garden gear out of the weather, we build it to the same standard — square, weathertight, and finished properly.

What We Build

Every kind of timber garden structure.

Not sure which fits your garden or your budget? Get in touch and we'll talk it through when we quote.

Garden Rooms & Studios

Insulated, cedar-clad garden rooms for a gym, studio or general-purpose space, ready for whatever the season brings.

Garden Offices

A proper separation between home and work, without a commute — built ready for power and lighting to be run in by a qualified electrician.

Timber Sheds & Stores

Practical, weathertight storage for tools, bikes, logs or bins — built to your size rather than the nearest off-the-shelf option.

Summer Houses

A traditional timber summer house for the garden — somewhere to sit out, entertain, or simply enjoy the space you've got.

Bespoke & Made-to-Measure Builds

Got something specific in mind that doesn't fit a standard category? We build to your exact size, layout and spec.

Cedar Cladding & Finishes

Cedar cladding weathers to an attractive silver-grey over time, or we can fit pressure-treated timber cladding for a more budget-friendly finish.

What Holds It All Together

What goes into every structure.

The parts you don't see are the ones that decide whether it's still standing square in ten years.

Solid, Level Foundations

A concrete pad, paving slabs or screw piles, chosen to suit your ground and the size of the build — never just set straight onto soil.

Weatherproof Roofing

Felt, EPDM rubber or shingle roofing, laid with a proper fall so water sheds away rather than pooling.

Cedar Or Treated Cladding

Natural weathering cedar, or pressure-treated softwood cladding for a more budget-conscious finish that still holds up.

Glazing & Doors

Bifold, sliding or French doors, single or double glazed depending on how you plan to use the space year-round.

“After a terrible winter, I searched for someone to quote me for a raised decking area for this summer. After three separate quotes, Mark was the only one who said a few things the other two never did.

So we chose him to make us a five-metre-square area for garden furniture and a BBQ to sit alongside our pond.

It's perfect and we're glad we added the gazebo over the top for our vine plants to grow over.

A big well done.”

“Brilliant service from start to finish. Mark turned up when he said he would, quote was clear, and the finished job looks spot on.

Left everything tidy too.”

“What impressed me was an immediate answer to my call with no automated voice giving me several options.

So thank you to Mark for showing up on time for an estimate and on time with his son with the supplies the following Monday, and for an excellent job done in one day.

Both Mark and his son worked well together and cleared away all debris and left our back garden clean and tidy.”

Garden Structures FAQs

Common questions about garden structures.

Anything else, just ask when you get in touch — happy to talk through the specifics of your garden.

Most garden structures fall under permitted development — generally single-storey, under a certain height, and within limits on how much of your garden they cover. There are exceptions near conservation areas or if the structure is close to a boundary, so we're happy to flag anything relevant when we quote.

We build the structure ready for power and lighting to be run in — the electrical work itself is carried out by a qualified electrician, which we're happy to coordinate as part of your project.

It depends on the ground and the size of the build — a concrete pad, paving slabs or screw piles are all options. We'll assess your garden and recommend the right base as part of your free quote.

A simple shed or store can be a couple of days; a fully-clad garden room with glazing and a proper foundation is typically 1–3 weeks depending on size and specification. We'll give you an accurate timeframe as part of your free quote.

Yes, that's one of the most common uses we build for. If you want it usable year-round, we can talk through insulation and glazing options — if it's intended as a separate self-contained living space, additional building regulations may apply, and we can advise on that too.

Cedar cladding is our most popular finish for garden rooms — it weathers to an attractive silver-grey over time. We also fit pressure-treated timber cladding, with felt, EPDM rubber or shingle roofing depending on the structure.

We're based in Medway and regularly build garden structures across Maidstone, Sittingbourne, Gravesend and the surrounding Kent villages. If you're just outside these areas, get in touch anyway — we may still be able to help.
